The Navision Developer is responsible for the technical aspects
of customer projects that are assigned including design specifications,
writing code and ensuring technical tasks are completed on time.
A strong understanding and background in relational databases
and programming concepts is required. A strong knowledge of the
Microsoft Navision development environment is also a must. You
must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
and a good understanding of ERP business processes.
The Navision Developer must develop strong working relationships
with other project team members in order to support the technical
aspects of a project. It is important that a developer has the
interpersonal skills to work effectively with people who may have
varying technical backgrounds.
The Navision Developer must also be capable of working directly
with customers in a support role, communicating effectively and
professionally with customers. Doing so is reason to be awarded
the opportunity to work as the Lead Developer on a project.
You must have very strong computer related technical skills; relational
database and programming skills; very strong oral and written
communication skills; excellent technical writing skills; and
some understanding of ERP business processes.
